	The Amish Collection began in 1999, a vision of Joe & Sandy McClung, proprietors of The Quilt Shop. Joe & Sandy purchased Amish beds to display their beautiful quilts and their customers became interested in the furniture also. Seeing a need for heirloom quality Amish handcrafted furniture in the Ozarks, they decided to open The Amish Collection with his brother Terry McClung and friend Randy Johnson.
